The content of the lecture will deal with the restoration of interior spaces, and the principles behind the research and inspection process. A main concern in the restoration process of buildings, especially interior spaces, is when they lose their original function, requiring restoration and reconceptualization. The emphasis in this lecture will be to examine renovation methods, materials, and the latest building technologies to assess and compensate for the constructive and decorative components which have lost their function. |
