The related course will be covering the key concepts at the foundation of the pharmaceutical technology relevant for molecular basis of protein therapeutics, production related analytical procedures, formulation development, pharmacokinetics & pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity,economic & practical considerations of pharmaceutics and evolving new technologies and applications. In the second section, the current stage of the various therapeutic classes of protein biologics, nucleotide- and cell-based therapeutics will be scrutinized in detail. Monoclonal antibodies, CAR-T approaches, Gene Therapy, biosimilars and DNA vaccines are some of the topics to be discussed as recombinant pharmaceuticals. |
