The course aims to identify specific environmental problems within the framework of economic theory and how to deal with them, public goods, externalities, the recognition of economic events such as market failures in the context of environmental problems they create and the discussion of the potential of specific policy tools to solve problems, including the examination of these instruments in various contexts such as air pollution, global warming, water pollution, solid wastes and natural resources policy. |
